Surviving Breast Cancer
EDI held its second National Conference "Surviving Breast Cancer" in September 2008 and was aimed at highlighting progress and plans in relation to Specialist Breast Centres in Ireland - after the shocking misdiagnosis revelations of 2007. With over 25,000 women living in Ireland following a diagnosis of breast cancer, the conference focused on follow-up and advocacy in action.
