Dr. Dennis Slamon, serves as Director of Clinical/Translational Research, and as Director of the Revlon/UCLA Women’s Cancer Research Program, at the world famous UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Centre, Los Angeles, California. Dr. Slamon is one of the foremost cancer researchers in the world today and is particularly recognised for his pioneering work in breast cancer, which paved the way for the development of Herceptin®.
Dr Giuseppe Gullo will also present information on the profound impact that Herceptin® has had on patients with breast cancer in Ireland.
